OUTBACK TV RV-85A
Fully Automatic Satellite TV System

Designed for Australia - The OUTBACK TV Difference

The OUTBACK TV RV85A is a Fully automatic motorised Satellite TV dish system, with Research and Development carried out by The MR Marine Group in Sydney Australia.  Based on the tried and proven technology of OCEAN TV, with over 2000 installs, OUTBACK TV is backed by a 3 year Factory Warranty.

GEARBOX

OUTBACK TV uses a single Billet Milled all alloy purpose built gearbox, that is one piece and fully sealed. Other products on the market often use two separate gearboxes that are not sealed from dust.

Manufactured by one of Asia's leading gearbox manufactures, it has been designed and tested for the harsh Australian Conditions.

All gears are made of steel, not nylon as many other brands use,  and all drive shafts are the highest quality stainless steel.

The OUTBACK TV motors are from the automotive industry,  featuring worm drive gearing for strong positive drive, and low power consumption.  If fact, the  OUTBACK TV drive motors use less than halve the power of other brands on the market.

The gearbox is then mounted securely to an alloy base frame that is sealed against the elements using a automotive grade polypropylene cover, which is gasket sealed at the base.

Built in 24 Channel GPS

The built in 24 channel GPS inputs to the OUTBACK TV the exact location, meaning the antenna is not just searching the sky to find a signal.

With the exact location, the inbuilt Satellite Database allows the antenna to pre-set the skew and elevation angles before searching, meaning Satellite lock on much faster and easier.

Once the satellite is found the unit with then automatically fine tune both the skew and elevation to achieve the highest signal level.  The previous GPS location, skew angle and elevation angles are stored for the next search.

QUAD LNB - Australian Specification 10.7 LO

OUTBACK TV uses a custom made wideband QUAD LNB, designed to receive all Australian Channels both DVBS and DVBS2 (SD and HD MPEG4 Standards).

Using the on board 24 Channel GPS, the angle of the LNB (SKEW Angle) is automatically calculated for the location, and antenna is fine tuned automatically.  Many other products require user input for East or West Regions of Australia.

Having Quad Output, both Foxtel IQ / Austar MyStar Multi Tuner Receivers and VAST Multi Tuner Receivers can connected and used at the same time, with out extra hardware.  Other products claim Foxtel/VAST receivers can be connected but only feature Dual LNB's which require a expensive LNB Muliswitch to be installed first.  OUTBACK TV is IQ and VAST READY.

The LNB is sealed in a automotive grade polypropylene cover, which is gasket sealed at the base.

Low Roof Profile

OUTBACK TV has a low roof profile of only 211mm, while other products on the market have up to 255mm.

Simple to Use

OUTBACK TV is very simple to use. Simply turn on the unit, and press SEARCH.  OUTBACK TV remembers the last Satellite searched for automatically, default is OPTUS C1/D3 (VAST/FOXTEL).

The Antenna will then locate your position with GPS, set the elevation and LNB skew angle automatically and lock on to the satellite, all fine tuning is done automatically.

The VAST Satellite Receiver will load all channels available (TV and Radio) and automatically select the last channel that was viewed.

Foxtel Satellite Receivers will load the Programme Guide Listing, and select the last channel that was viewed.
